Rain rhythmically tapped at the world around us as we danced to the beat of the of the constant pattering. I was never much of a dancer, but me…her…alone as lightning lit the sky and rain soaked us to the bone. No one had ever wanted to dance more in their life than I did at this moment with Jennifer Riding, the most beautiful girl this world had ever known.
Her blue eyes flashed with light as lightning struck over head, followed a second later by the deep roll of thunder, and we stopped. I knew that this was it. Jennifer riding was going to be my first kiss, and I never wanted to kiss anyone else after this moment we were about to share.
I leaned forward and she eagerly closed the distance and our lips touched for a second, and I pulled back, hoping to see a smile on her face. But it wasn’t to be so, she pulled me back in, and this time it was more than a second.
By the time we pulled apart, the rain had stopped, and we could only see an occasional flash of lightning in the distance.
